Tell me about a time you met a tight deadline

Describe a project with a deadline that was hard to meet. Say when you saw the plan was at risk, what you personally did (cut scope, re-plan, ask for help), how you told stakeholders about the trade-off, and what shipped in the end. Interviewers also ask the other side: a deadline you missed, how you recovered, and how you kept risk visible instead of hiding it.

A good answer is one specific story with your own actions separated from the team's, a clear trade-off, and a measurable result.
