Privacy policy
Introduction
Frontier Interview is a community for interview questions and answers at the frontier AI labs and other top tech companies. This policy explains what we collect when you use frontierinterview.dev, why, who helps us run the site, and the choices you have.
We keep it short: we collect only what the site needs to work, and we don't sell your data.
Information we collect
- Account details. When you sign up, with email or with Google, we get your email address, your name, a username and your profile photo, if you have one.
- What you post. The questions, solutions, remixes, comments, votes, tracks and "I was asked this" reports you add. Reports record only the company, quarter, round and level you choose.
- Technical information. Like most websites, our servers log your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when. We use these logs to keep the site running and to stop abuse.
We don't take payments, so we never see card or bank details.
How we use your information
- To run the site: sign you in, show your work and credit you for it.
- To rank answers, using votes and remixes.
- To prevent spam and abuse, for example limiting votes from brand-new accounts.
- To answer you when you email us.
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising.
What other people can see
Frontier Interview is a public community. Anyone can see published questions and solutions, along with your name, username and photo as their author. You choose each solution's visibility:
- Public: listed on the site for everyone.
- Unlisted: visible only to people with the link.
- Private: visible only to you.
You can also publish a solution anonymously. Your name is then hidden from other people, but we still know it's yours.
The Claude assistant
When you mention @claude in a comment, we send that comment and the document it's on to Anthropic so that Claude can answer or suggest edits. Anthropic processes this data for us and doesn't use it to train its models. If you don't mention @claude, nothing is sent to Anthropic.
Service providers
A few trusted companies help us run Frontier Interview. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Clerk: sign-in and accounts.
- Google: if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Cloudflare: hosting, file storage and our email address.
- Neon: our database.
- Anthropic: the Claude assistant, as described above.
- Resend: sending our email replies.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our users or the site.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and posts for as long as your account exists. You can edit what you've written at any time. To see the data we hold about you, or to delete your account and everything tied to it, email hello@frontierinterview.dev. We'll do it within 30 days. A remix that someone else made of your public solution is their work, so it stays, but we remove your name from it.
Security
All traffic to Frontier Interview is encrypted with HTTPS. We limit who can access our systems and keep our software up to date. No service is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children under 13
Frontier Interview is not for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. If a change matters a lot, we'll also post a notice on the site.
