Design an online auction service
Design an auction feature inside a social app: sellers list an item with an end time, buyers place bids, and everyone watching sees the highest bid update live. Cover the data model, accepting bids correctly under heavy contention, pushing updates to viewers, closing the auction exactly at its end time and picking the winner.
