Design a cache for query views that depend on each other

In a data warehouse, views are defined on top of tables and other views, so the views form a DAG. Design a cache that speeds up queries over these views and keeps it correct when underlying data changes.

Cover what you cache (results, intermediate views), how a change to a base table invalidates or refreshes dependent entries along the DAG, incremental refresh versus recompute, memory limits and eviction, and concurrency between refreshes and reads.
